The implementation included automation of payroll runs and integration points to reconcile personnel and financial records, aligning SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with municipal finance and payroll functional terminology.
The system is fully integrated with other council IT systems including HR, finance and workforce management, with interfaces and integration work executed by Capgemini alongside council IT staff. Operational architecture leveraged a mixed delivery model based at the council’s Gloucester headquarters and Capgemini development centres in the United Kingdom and India, led by a UK team using Capgemini’s Rightshore delivery model.
