Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2016 2017
In 2016 Goodwill Southern California implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize ERP Financial processes across its finance organization and store network. The initiative targeted core financial operations for a nonprofit with roughly 3000 employees and reported annual revenue of 238000000, aligning accounting, retail and reporting workflows under a single ERP Financial platform. Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to deliver standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management and period close controls, with chart of accounts standardization and role based access to enforce segregation of duties. Configuration work emphasized transaction level revenue tracking and retail reconciliation to support consolidated financial reporting across store operations and central finance. The implementation integrated point of sale streams from NetSuite POS and connected named analytics and reporting tools present in the environment, including DOMO and statistical and database tooling, with financial reporting processes linked to Adaptive Insights for budgeting and forecasting. These integrations fed transactional retail and financial data into reporting and analytics layers while preserving Oracle NetSuite ERP as the system of record for financial transactions. Governance and process changes established standardized approval workflows, automated journal and invoice routing, and centralized financial controls to support month end close and audit readiness. Operational ownership was placed with finance and retail operations teams, while analytics and reporting responsibilities were assigned to teams using DOMO and Adaptive Insights to deliver consolidated financial insights.
