| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2009 | 2010 |
In 2009, Greenville Water implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP. Microsoft Dynamics GP serves as the company's ERP Financial platform supporting centralized accounting and financial reporting.
The deployment was configured to deliver core financial management functions typical of an ERP Financial system, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset tracking and procurement controls. Microsoft Dynamics GP was used to standardize the chart of accounts, formalize period close workflows and consolidate transactional finance data for audit and regulatory needs.
An Integration Platform initiative replaces the Data Warehouse project that received funding approval in the 2017 Capital Budget. The Integration Platform ensures cohesive extraction, transformation and loading to and from disparate data systems, aligning and consolidating reports, data and information, and it provides a central venue for all systems to plug into instead of each system employing different proprietary methods and formats. The incoming CMMS will be a critical and central system requiring integration with GIS, CIS, LIMS, Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP, fuel systems and possibly SCADA.
Governance emphasis is on centralized data integration controls, standardized ETL processes and common data formats to support consolidated reporting across finance, operations and laboratory functions. Implementation planning centers on system-level connectors and data mapping to Microsoft Dynamics GP to ensure consistent financial records and a single source of truth for downstream reporting.

| Hexagon | Legacy | HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Greenville Water deployed HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) as its Enterprise Asset Management platform to centralize asset information and operational workflows. The deployment supported the utility's asset management program and addressed requirements for plant equipment and linear asset management across operations.
HxGN EAM implementation work focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including an asset registry, standardized asset attributes, CMMS work order management, preventive maintenance routines, and KPI dashboards and reporting. Configuration activity included remapping and standardization of asset attributes and a targeted revamp of the Infor EAM CMMS configuration to align data models, work planning, and reporting structures.
Operational coverage prioritized plants and linear assets, with configuration and maintenance routines applied across maintenance and asset management teams. The project incorporated risk-based maintenance practices, evidenced by the development of a risk matrix for linear assets to inform inspection frequencies and work prioritization.
Governance and process transformation were led by the Asset Management Program Manager beginning April 2020, who directed attribute standardization, development of maintenance routines for plants, and rollout of KPI dashboards to shift execution from reactive to proactive work activities. HxGN EAM and its Enterprise Asset Management capabilities were positioned to support standardized workflows, data governance, and ongoing programmatic asset management at Greenville Water.
