Badakan Legacy Badakan HRIS Core HR HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Groupe Barriere deployed Badakan HRIS as a Core HR solution to manage large volumes of extras, onboarding and multisite scheduling across its hotels, restaurants and casinos in France. Badakan HRIS was positioned to centralize frontline workforce administration, contract generation and pre-payroll declaration workflows for hourly and contingent staff. The implementation emphasized extras management and onboarding modules, with configuration of contract generation templates and automated pre-payroll declarations to accelerate payroll handoff. The deployment used scheduling and extras management capabilities typical of Core HR systems to automate offer and contract issuance, capture extra shifts, and standardize onboarding checklists and documentation. Operational coverage included multisite scheduling across Groupe Barriere properties in France and the management of a large pool of contingent workers, with the platform growing to approximately ~7,550 extras registered. Payroll interfacing was implemented as a payroll-adjacent integration point, with automated pre-payroll declarations and data exports supporting downstream payroll processing and weekly pay-cycle administration. Governance and process changes focused on shifting manager workflows into the Badakan HRIS extras and scheduling modules, reducing administrative time on extras from approximately 3 hours to approximately 1 hour weekly and improving manager responsiveness and talent retention. The rollout, which began in 2020, concentrated on operationalizing contract generation and scheduling rules across sites while maintaining centralized oversight of extras management and payroll interfacing.
