In 2013, Pomona Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment was structured as a multi-year program to onboard agency and commercial branch operations, with specific rollout phases that included Swiss agencies where data enrichment and loading were emphasized.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation centralized master and transactional processing across finance, logistics, warehousing, sales and procurement. Functional configuration and data models implemented included supplier and customer master data, article catalogs and FIA, finance elements such as credit data, correspondence templates, payment terms and regional back-end conditions, logistics constructs for receiving rounds, alert instructions, vehicle assignments, delivery processes and HML, warehouse geo-location and dynamic stock data, sales artifacts including PAN, qualification sheets, animation costs, CVO, deletion indicators and sales order processing, and purchase order processing.
Data migration and integration work focused on enrichment and bulk loading of basic and operational data into SAP ERP ECC 6.0, using development of LSMW and implementation of loads to stage suppliers, customers, articles, finance records, warehouse stock and historical transactional data. The project included history recovery and implementation controls to validate enrichment files and loaded datasets during the Swiss agency onboarding, reflecting a centralized basic data repository approach.
Governance emphasized controlled production of enrichment files and implementation controls, with defined responsibilities for data owners to provide credit, payment and logistics parameters and iterative validation cycles during rollout phases. This implementation narrative links Pomona Group, SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the ERP Financial category to a decade-long deployment pattern focused on master data governance, migration tooling and phased agency rollouts.
