| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2016 | 2017 |
In 2016, Guardant Health implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment targeted Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, project financials, billing and revenue management to support Finance and Operations across the organization.
Oracle Cloud ERP was configured for core ledgers and subledgers including GL, AR, AP, FA, CM and PO, along with Project Accounting, financial close, consolidation and revenue recognition capabilities. Reporting and analytics were provisioned using BI Publisher and OTBI, with artifacts and data extracts compatible with FRS and Smartview and SQL for ad hoc queries. Configuration activities included setup, participation in system upgrades and testing, and production tuning performed by dedicated finance application specialists.
Integrations were coordinated with an integration team and middleware layers including Oracle FMW and third-party middleware, preferably Mulesoft, to manage interfaces and transactional data flows. The implementation included data migration planning, user acceptance testing and daily production support workstreams to troubleshoot and resolve data related issues. Monitoring reports and BI artifacts were used to surface operational exceptions and support data reconciliation across finance processes.
Operational governance followed formal change control and multi-stakeholder governance processes, with application security, access controls, auditing and privacy controls designed to meet SOX and HIPAA requirements and align with control frameworks such as COBIT. Support models included managing a backlog of user requests, regular status reporting of prioritization, work in progress and completed items, and collaboration with outsourced support vendors across Asia time zones. Documentation, cross-training and on-call production support were established to sustain ongoing operations and governance.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Guardant Health implemented Workday HCM to centralize Core HR functions for its People team. The deployment positioned Workday HCM as the primary HRIS supporting employee records and recruiting administration for the company’s Redwood City headquarters role profile and HR coordinator activities.
Workday HCM was configured to manage core HR data, onboarding orchestration, offer letter creation and candidate scheduling, and to coordinate background check workflows and the employee referral program. Recruiting and onboarding workflows were extended to support ATS administration responsibilities, with templates and role-based access controls to preserve data integrity and maintain both digital and hard copy personnel records.
Integrations documented in the implementation context include the Applicant Tracking System and Click Boarding for onboarding orchestration, together with background screening connectors invoked by HR workflows. Operational coverage focused on the People team, Talent Acquisition and Operations at Guardant Health headquarters, and governance emphasized HRIS data entry standards, training for HR coordinators, ATS administration handoffs and centralized record keeping under the People team’s administration of Workday HCM.

| Litify | Legacy | Litify | Legal Practice Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 Guardant Health implemented Litify to centralize legal intake and matter management for its in-house legal team, deploying Litify as its Legal Practice Management platform. The 2023 implementation year is an estimate drawn from typical SaaS rollout timelines because the published Litify case study does not specify the purchase or go live date.
Deployment focused on configuring intake workflows and matter lifecycle management, including matter triage, case tracking, document management, and task orchestration consistent with Legal Practice Management capabilities. Integrations were implemented with Salesforce, Okta, and Workday, with Salesforce aligning matter intake to existing CRM records, Okta providing identity and single sign on, and Workday supplying employee data for permissions and HR related processes. Rollout concentrated on the in-house legal team and the legal operations function, accompanied by governance changes to centralize intake and standardize assignment rules. Guardant Health reported an estimated 50 percent reduction in administrative burden following the Litify deployment.
