Ramco Systems Legacy Ramco ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 Gulf Precast Concrete Company L.L.C implemented Ramco ERP as an ERP Financial application to centralize finance, treasury and project costing activities. The deployment targeted the companys manufacturing finance organization, with particular operational focus in Abu Dhabi, supporting a 4,000 employee manufacturing footprint and product and project level cost reporting. Ramco ERP was configured to support treasury workflows and the ERP costing module, including processing of LC and TR applications, retirement of documents, bank reconciliation, handling of tender related advances, performance and retention guarantees, and daily cash position monitoring. Configuration work included creation and mapping of cost elements to account codes, definition of cost centers, and setup of job cost allocation and percentage completion reporting for project accounting and product costing. Operational use emphasized financial analysis, forecasting funds requirements for import loans, short term loans and invoice discounting, and the preparation of facility documentation and bank reconciliation activities. The implementation included job cost report testing, preparation of cost reports by location product and project, and establishment of budget comparison processes and rules for allocation of indirect material consumption and indirect costs. Governance and process changes were implemented around cost center and cost element definitions, job costing workflows, and functional support for the ERP costing module, with accounting personnel operating cash forecasting, treasury settlements and vendor follow up as part of day to day finance operations. Ramco ERP is referenced throughout finance and project accounting processes as the companys ERP Financial system for costing and treasury functions.

Ramco Systems Legacy Ramco HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Gulf Precast Concrete Company L.L.C implemented Ramco HCM as its Core HR application. This implementation followed Gulf Precast’s earlier 2010 agreement with Ramco Systems to deploy the Ramco Enterprise Series 5.0 suite, and positioned Ramco HCM within the same enterprise on premise ERP footprint. The Ramco HCM deployment focused on core HR and payroll capabilities, delivering centralized employee master records, workforce administration, and payroll processing as part of the Core HR functional layer. Configuration work emphasized role and organizational hierarchies aligned to manufacturing shop floor roles, and the solution supported standard HR workflows and workforce administration consistent with Core HR practices. Technically, Ramco HCM was implemented as a component of the Ramco Enterprise Series architecture, which is SOA compliant and built on Ramco VirtualWorks. The HCM instance was integrated with the suite level payroll and manufacturing modules that Gulf Precast commissioned, and it served HR and payroll operations across Gulf Precast’s six factories in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, covering an employee population on the order of the company’s reported headcount. Governance and rollout centered on consolidating HR processes and establishing enterprise HR controls to support operational consistency across sites. The implementation aligned with stated corporate objectives to fully integrate processes, enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and leverage the Ramco Enterprise Series design aims to ensure operational efficiency, reduce costs, and protect technology investments.

IBM Legacy IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Gulf Precast Concrete Company L.L.C implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management platform. The deployment targeted maintenance and asset reliability functions across five factories, buildings, vehicles and multiple sites in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, establishing Maximo as the primary system for preventive maintenance planning and execution. IBM Maximo was configured to support preventive maintenance scheduling, work order management, and Reliability Centered Maintenance workflows, aligning with the company effort to move from manual processes to a computerized maintenance management system. The implementation captured operational telemetry used for maintenance reporting, including equipment breakdown records, equipment uptime, mean time between failure and mean time to repair metrics, and incorporated Non Destructive Testing data gathered from handheld thermal imaging and infrared sensors. Operational coverage extended to factory production lines, site machinery and facility services, with explicit responsibility for fire equipment maintenance and third party certification processes maintained through Maximo records. The Maximo implementation was coordinated alongside an ERP rollout, enabling procedural alignment between maintenance planning and broader operational planning without naming a specific ERP product. Governance and process controls were formalized with monthly, quarterly and bi-annual maintenance reporting to top management, and the maintenance organization integrated ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance activities into system workflows. The project context includes conducting nine internal audits across ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and tangible delivery tasks such as orchestrating the shift of 10 construction and production sites and supervising a maintenance overhaul program of 15 75+ Tons mobile assets, all managed through IBM Maximo and documented within the Enterprise Asset Management environment.
