In 2024, GXS Bank deployed FICO Platform to power credit decisioning for its GXS FlexiLoan personal loan product, positioning the project within the Analytics and BI category. The implementation produced credit decisions in milliseconds and enabled the bank to issue loans in under three minutes for the vast majority of approved customers, and the project completed in three months and won a 2024 FICO Decisions Award for Customer Onboarding & Management.
The implementation leveraged FICO Platform Intelligent Decisions capabilities, including advanced analytics, rule design, and flow orchestration to automate end to end onboarding and decisioning workflows. GXS Bank layered alternative data into decision logic, configured risk policies and policy execution flows on the platform, and used the platform s agile infrastructure to iterate on decision models and policy rules while retaining governance controls.
Integrations implemented as part of the deployment included user permissioned ecosystem data feeds from Grab and Singtel, which were combined with conventional credit bureau scores to extend credit access to applicants with thin or no credit histories. Operational coverage centered on customer onboarding, credit operations and risk management for the GXS FlexiLoan, with FICO Platform capabilities earmarked for additional credit products across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Governance and rollout emphasized rapid policy configuration and robust risk controls, enabling the bank to deploy decision logic and update policies at pace without sacrificing oversight. The program architecture supported automated millisecond decisioning, orchestration of policy flows, and centralized analytics for underwriting and pricing, aligning the FICO Platform deployment with GXS Bank s goals for efficient onboarding and expanded credit access.
