In 2015 Hasbro implemented Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable as an AP Automation deployment focused on stabilizing core payables workflows. The implementation used AP Version 4.7 on ECC6 and concentrated on Accounts Payable functional build out including vendor account groups, terms of payment, reason codes and open item management for vendor accounts.
Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable was configured to support both Manual and Automatic Payment Program runs, including payment advice generation, payment analysis printing and clearing of vendor open items. The program configuration extended to tax account handling for incoming invoices, intercompany clearing rules, AP electronic bank statement processing with incoming bank file handling, batch jobs and manual post processing for error postings, and related payables reconciliation controls.
The implementation included parallel Accounts Receivable and Asset Accounting configurations, with Accounts Receivable work on house banks, cash discounts, cash application and external credit reporting, and Asset Accounting configuration covering chart of depreciation, depreciation areas, asset classes, account determinations, number ranges, screen layouts, depreciation and calculation keys, transaction types for acquisition retirement and transfer, and Asset under Construction settlement via Cost Center accounting and Internal Order customization. Integration testing was executed against procurement and invoice systems, specifically testing interfaces between Dolphin VIM, Ariba and SAP for procurement invoice posting, as well as EDI file testing with banks and multiple payment methods for Accounts Payable.
Governance and rollout emphasized rigorous testing and control frameworks, with functional and integration testing across SAP FICO, MM and SD modules as required, month end close testing including GRIR reclass and foreign currency revaluation, and reconciliations using Blackline and HFM Fit. User acceptance testing was managed in HP Quality Center, including identification of UAT scenarios, manual test case creation, mapping to a requirements traceability matrix, defect logging and tracking to resolution, status reporting on UAT progress and cut off procedures that included uploading and tallying vendor and asset master data.

The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation emphasized core HR master data and organizational management, with configuration of global person and employment records, job and position frameworks, and role based access controls. Functional capabilities targeted workforce administration and employee lifecycle workflows consistent with Core HR best practices, including standardized HRIS record keeping and configurable business rules for workforce events.
The program ran in parallel with other enterprise initiatives, aligning HR data structures to support downstream workforce planning and financial planning programs without asserting specific technical integrations. Operational scope focused on corporate HR and HR shared services, creating a centralized employee record to serve HR, talent administration, and planning functions across the organization.
Governance measures included establishment of master data stewardship, process harmonization for HR transactions, and change control around core HR processes to support consistent global usage. Rollout and adoption emphasized standardized HR policies and controlled configuration changes to preserve data integrity and sustainability of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as Hasbro's Core HR system.

In 2019 Hasbro implemented Informatica Product 360 as its Product Information Management platform to standardize product data across manufacturing, marketing, retail, supply chain, logistics and entertainment domains. The implementation was scoped as a global initiative aligned to Hasbro presence in 120 countries and led by a Lead PIM and data governance architect and data steward based in Pawtucket, RI.
The deployment centered on a cloud based syndicated data model and a Common Data Model built to TOGAF compliant processes, supporting multi language, multi currency and multi cultural product representations. Informatica Product 360 was configured with product data management frameworks, business rules, and data governance standards to enforce product taxonomy hierarchies that comply with both external and internal definitions.
Technical integration work included Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality IDQ alongside Product 360, with downstream and upstream connectivity to STIBO, DB2, Oracle, SSIS, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, ERWIN and Power BI as reporting and modeling endpoints. Functional capabilities implemented covered master data management patterns for product master, syndicated data feeds, data quality profiling and remediation workflows, and product hierarchy and attribute orchestration.
Governance and rollout focused on operationalizing data stewardship, documented procedures, and a product data management framework to support global manufacturing and marketing systems. Deliverables included the syndicated data model, published business rules, and data governance standards and procedures for ongoing PIM and MDM operations.
