Cognizant TriZetto QNXT was configured to support core claims processing workflows, claim adjudication and remittance handling, provider data management, and nonemergency medical transportation claim ingestion consistent with Core Admin Processing System functionality. Implementation notes emphasize EDI and flat file intake points, automated parsing of 835 remittance detail, and provider roster ingestion to populate provider directories and claims routing rules within the TriZetto QNXT environment.
Integrations were instrumented to accept a range of source formats and submitter channels documented by plan partners. CareOregon supplied daily inpatient, outpatient, HCBS, laboratory, long term care, oral health, and physician claims from its in house QNXT claims processing system, daily pharmacy files from PBM Catamaran in flat file format, daily NEMT 837P files from Ecolane, daily vision 837P files from VSP, and behavioral health claims from either CareOregon QNXT or PH TECH. Legacy Health delivered weekly point of service 837I inpatient and facility claims and weekly 837P laboratory, physician, and vision claims via its clearinghouse and EDI gateway, and these feeds were mapped into the TriZetto QNXT ingest pipeline.
Governance of the implementation relied on partner provided data inventories, documented frequencies, and approximate volumes for each source feed, which informed onboarding sequence and data validation controls. Operational coverage extended across plan partner claims operations, provider network management, and revenue cycle touch points, with workflows and EDI parsing routines aligned to the APAC format specifications captured in the implementation documentation.
