In 2011, Healthways deployed Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial system to consolidate core finance operations and standardize transactional accounting. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation served as the primary finance and accounting backbone for Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and project accounting.
A dedicated team of technical analysts managed Oracle Financials R12, supporting modules including Purchasing, iProcurement, Accounts Payable, iExpenses, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Projects, and administering the Noetix Reporting tool for operational and management reporting. Configuration and module support focused on day to day transaction processing, period close workflows and reporting enablement within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment.
Operational coverage centered on the finance organization and the internal technical support group, with the team responsible for application administration, patching, and technical troubleshooting for Oracle Financials R12. Support responsibilities included sustaining integrations and reporting interfaces required for ongoing financial operations. The implementation narrative ties Healthways, Oracle E-Business Suite, ERP Financial and finance and accounting functions together in a single managed application environment.
Governance and rollout details were led by the technical manager who led the team that successfully migrated from 11i to R12.1.3 in May 2011. Post migration activities included stabilization and ongoing application support by the managed technical analyst team.

| ADP | Oracle Taleo Cloud Service | ADP Workforce Now | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2018 |
In 2015, Healthways implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR platform and primary applicant tracking system. The deployment replaced Oracle Taleo Cloud Service and centralized recruiting operations on ADP Workforce Now.
ADP Workforce Now was configured to host the corporate careers page and run applicant tracking workflows, using the application to manage job postings, candidate applications, and HR record linkage between recruitment and employee profiles. The implementation leverages ADP Workforce Now applicant tracking capabilities alongside Core HR functions to unify hiring intake with basic HR administration.
Job postings are published via an ADP Workforce Now hosted apply link on the Healthways website, indicating a hosted job posting integration between the corporate careers site and ADP Workforce Now. The implementation supports talent acquisition and HR operations for Healthways in the United States and is sized to serve a workforce of approximately 2500 employees.
Governance was shifted to centralized recruitment and hiring workflows within ADP Workforce Now, replacing processes previously managed in Oracle Taleo Cloud Service and aligning hiring approvals and candidate data handling under Core HR administrative controls.

In 2010 Healthways implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics for Analytics and BI. The engagement focused on enterprise business intelligence delivery for the Healthways Business Intelligence team and for external healthcare customers through portal and reporting interfaces.
Implementation architecture included MicroStrategy i-Server for analytics delivery and administration alongside BusinessObjects XI 3.1 and Narrowcast administration. Data architecture work established a star schema with type II slowly changing dimensions, defined fact and dimension tables, and data modeling performed using TOAD, while SSMS and BIDS were used to develop SSIS packages and SQL Server stored procedures for ETL and transformations.
ETL and data movement were operationalized through Informatica code deployments and SSIS, consolidating sources that included flat files, spreadsheets, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle databases into the Analytics and BI platform. BusinessObjects Explorer was delivered to serve internal and external healthcare customers, and project teams interfaced with business stakeholders and an offshore development team to operationalize reporting and portal access, with explicit risk assessments for exposing healthcare metrics to portal users.
Governance and delivery practices used Microsoft Project to plan, budget and allocate resources for million dollar projects, including Gantt charts for reporting tasks, status, budgets, due dates and resources. The team introduced scrum agile methodology at Healthways, administered MicroStrategy and BusinessObjects components for production analytics, and delivered a successful web based reporting project.
