Technical integration and data movement relied on Workday integration tools, including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio and PICOF, with complex XSLT, XML, XPATH and REST based API work to support file formats and transformation logic. Data migration tasks sourced PeopleSoft data into Workday using EIB, Core Connectors and Workday Studio, and integrations delivered output files to external vendors via SFTP. Integration and report schedules were configured and integration security was enforced through integration security groups, custom security groups and an integration system user. The project lifecycle included requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing scheduling and support activities, with Jira used to track production issues and tickets. Functional responsibilities included creating Workday calculated fields, custom reports, condition rules, updating business process levels, modifying pay component logic and updating benefits rates and maximum annual limits. The team coordinated closely with HR and payroll stakeholders, and handled mass uploads for one time payments, compensation changes and time off adjustments to operationalize benefits administration. Operational coverage spanned HR, payroll and benefits administration functions, with explicit configuration for NA payroll, UK payroll, Canadian benefits and compensation modules. Workday Benefits served as the central Benefits Administration application connecting eligibility rules, yearend reporting and payroll integrations, while security and business process configuration supported controlled access and auditable benefit lifecycle workflows.
