HMT Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by HMT and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 991 HMT employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that HMT has purchased the following applications: Lectra FocusQuantum for Nesting in 2017 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems HMT is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with Lectra or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing HMT revenues, which have grown to $24.1 million in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for HMT intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2017, HMT implemented Lectra FocusQuantum, deploying the Lectra FocusQuantum laser airbag cutting machine as a Nesting solution to support airbag production operations. The deployment of Lectra FocusQuantum for Nesting directly supported HMT's manufacturing throughput and helped the company achieve the number one position on the airbag market in China.
The configuration emphasized Nesting capabilities typical for automated cutting workflows, including automated nesting algorithms for optimal pattern placement, material utilization optimization, and centralized management of cutting parameter libraries. The Lectra FocusQuantum implementation provided operator HMI screens for job selection and real time production control, and it coordinated nested job queuing to align cutting work with line-side assembly sequences.
Operationally the system was embedded in airbag production lines and impacted manufacturing, production planning, and quality assurance functions, consolidating cutting operations under a single machine-level control plane. Governance changes focused on standardizing cutting parameters and operator procedures, and on training production teams to run nested cutting jobs under the new Lectra FocusQuantum Nesting workflow.
