In 2018 HOCHTIEF Infrastructure deployed Cisco Webex Meetings for Audio Video and Web Conferencing to provide web‑based collaboration and client meeting capabilities exposed on its corporate website. The implementation was positioned to support corporate communications, project delivery teams, and client‑facing engagement within HOCHTIEF Infrastructure in Germany.
The Cisco Webex Meetings implementation uses standard Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities, including scheduled meetings, HD video conferencing, screen sharing, meeting recording, and participant management. Cisco Webex Meetings functionality was surfaced on the public site through embedded join links and meeting controls, enabling external stakeholders to initiate or join sessions from the website interface.
Operational ownership and governance were managed by the central IT organization together with communications teams, focusing on access control, meeting configuration, and external meeting workflows. The implementation scope emphasized department level collaboration and client engagement, with configuration aligned to the business functions of project delivery and external stakeholder communication.

In 2010, HOCHTIEF Infrastructure deployed TP CONTROL from Thinkproject on the La Confluencia hydropower project in Chile. The deployment used TP CONTROL as an EPM solution to digitalise document and communication management and to control construction workflows across the project.
The implementation incorporated Document & Communication Management capabilities and inferred adoption of COSTS/TP CONTROL to address budgeting and cost-control requirements, with configuration of cost tracking, approval routing and document version control to support construction cost transparency. Workflow automation was configured to accelerate approval cycles and to capture time management inputs tied to cost events. The TP CONTROL configuration emphasized project-level financial controls and auditability consistent with EPM functional expectations.
Operational coverage focused on project controls, site construction teams and subcontractor document exchanges for the La Confluencia project in Chile, centralizing document workflows and approvals within TP CONTROL. The rollout connected project planners, cost controllers and site managers around a single source for documents and cost information. The deployment supported construction phase coordination and on-site time management processes.
Governance was tightened through standardized approval workflows and centralized document control in TP CONTROL, which supported greater project cost transparency during construction. The implementation reduced approval delays and improved schedule adherence on the La Confluencia project, as reported in the project case study. These outcomes reflect changes in project controls and approval governance enabled by the EPM deployment.
