In 2018 Holbi Group implemented Powerful Commerce as the public storefront powering eCommerce on its customer-facing website. The deployment positioned Powerful Commerce as the central channel for online product presentation, catalog browsing, shopping cart and checkout workflows for the company based in the United Kingdom.
The Powerful Commerce implementation covered catalog management, product merchandising, pricing and promotions configuration, shopping cart orchestration and order management capabilities. Configuration work emphasized role based access for merchandising and order operations, and standard eCommerce functional workflows such as inventory availability checks at point of sale, multi step checkout, and order lifecycle tracking.
Operationally the solution was embedded into Holbi Group’s website and integrated with front end web assets, and generic back office touchpoints including payment gateway routing and shipping provider interfaces consistent with eCommerce platforms. The implementation scoped eCommerce responsibilities to commercial, marketing and fulfillment functions, enabling centralized content and catalog control alongside transactional order processing.
Governance and rollout focused on staged merchandising and checkout templates with operational handoffs to the merchandising team and fulfillment operations, while controls for pricing updates and order exception handling were instituted. Holbi Group Powerful Commerce eCommerce supports ongoing online sales activities and centralized catalog governance without named third party vendors or implementation partners specified.
