| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2009 | 2009 |
In 2009, Intercontinental Exchange implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The program consolidated accounting and sub-ledger applications in 10+ countries into a single global Oracle ERP instance and migrated that instance to a remotely managed cloud solution.
The implementation deployed Oracle Financials together with iProcurement and iExpense, configuring core General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and sub-ledger reconciliation workflows to support centralized financial accounting. Oracle E-Business Suite was configured to standardize chart of accounts controls, intercompany posting rules, and procure-to-pay and travel and expense processes across participating entities.
Architecturally the solution is a single global Oracle E-Business Suite instance hosted as a remotely managed cloud deployment, providing centralized ledger processing and consolidated sub-ledger transaction capture. The deployment covered finance and procurement functions across more than ten countries, enabling consistent transaction flows from procurement request through invoicing and expense settlement.
Governance was aligned to centralized financial process ownership with standardized operating procedures for sub-ledger posting and reconciliation, and rollout sequencing was used to align country-level statutory posting requirements with the global instance. Change control focused on shared configuration, common reconciliation routines, and role based financial controls to enforce consistent cross-border accounting processes.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Intercontinental Exchange implemented Workday HCM to establish a centralized HR platform. The deployment emphasized Core HR capabilities to consolidate global headcount and onboarding processes for roughly 3,000 employees, and to provide a single HRIS reference for HR, benefits, payroll, and recruiting functions.
Configuration work centered on advanced reporting and HRIS controls. A Human Resources Analyst developed, tested, and validated global headcount reporting of 3,000 employees across Workday HCM, Excel, and Jobvite by building functional reports that reflect current and future numbers. Custom Workday reports were designed to deliver distinct views and metrics required by different business groups, reflecting an emphasis on report design and validation.
Integrations supported reporting and recruiting workflows, including data exchange with Excel based reporting processes and Jobvite for recruiting data alignment. Operational coverage included onboarding and orientation at company headquarters, with onboarding throughput averaging four and peaking at twelve new hires per week, and day to day support across HRIS, benefits, payroll, and recruiting teams.
Governance was implemented through analyst led test and validation cycles, ownership of report configuration, and hands on onboarding coordination to maintain data quality and process consistency. Workday HCM was used to operationalize Core HR functions such as headcount visibility, onboarding orchestration, and cross functional HR service support.

| Dun & Bradstreet | Legacy | ChatD&B | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2024 | 2025 |
In 2024, Intercontinental Exchange announced plans to deploy ChatD&B, a Chatbots and Conversational AI application developed in collaboration with Dun & Bradstreet. The October 2024 announcement describes a program to combine D&B supply chain and location data with ICE geospatial climate models to deliver climate and ESG analytics for public and private companies, aimed at supporting finance and risk teams in the United States and globally.
The implementation narrative centers on ChatD&B surfacing climate risk and ESG workflows through conversational knowledge retrieval and data enrichment capabilities. ChatD&B is described as a conversational layer that can surface synthesized analytics and entity level insights to downstream finance and risk processes, implying configuration of intent classifiers, retrieval augmented generation or knowledge base connectors, and workflow triggers appropriate to ESG reporting and risk assessment use cases.
Integrations are explicit to the announcement, ChatD&B will ingest and expose Dun & Bradstreet supply chain and location datasets and ICE geospatial climate model outputs via API driven connectors into the conversational interface. Operational coverage is focused on finance and risk teams and is intended to support both US and global coverage for public and private company analyses, enabling question and answer workflows and data lookup across those combined data sources.
Governance and rollout planning follow the 2024 announcement, with the offering slated for rollout after the October 2024 disclosure and commercial availability expected thereafter. Deployment planning as described emphasizes embedding ChatD&B into existing ESG and climate risk workflows for financial and risk decision making, with implementation workstreams likely to coordinate data access, model alignment, and conversational governance to ensure controlled use by finance and risk stakeholders.
