In 2017 Indosat Ooredoo implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment targeted core finance, controlling and human resources processes to centralize transactional finance and payroll workflows across the organization.
SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to operate with Finance FI, Controlling CO and HR modules, while SAP BW components including BPC for budget planning and PCM for profitability management were operated alongside for management reporting. ABAP development and SAP BW process chain scheduling were used to orchestrate data extraction, transformation and reporting flows between transactional and analytical layers.
The implementation ran on an enterprise data center architecture with Oracle database backends and web application support using ASP and IIS, and was associated with a data center move to Lintasarta under a strategic partnership involving Lintasarta and IBM. Operational infrastructure responsibilities included server, storage and virtualization management, with data center operations teams monitoring availability and recovery processes.
Governance and operational support were staffed by internal ERP operations roles including ABAP programmers, ERP analysts and data center system support personnel, responsible for SAP ECC application support, SAP BW and BPC operations, PL SQL routines and the cash balance system. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 served as Indosat Ooredoo ERP Financial system and a central platform for finance, controlling, budgeting and HR operational workflows.

The deployment was operated through an internal HRIS organization that serves as a liaison between Human Resources and IT, with explicit roles for HRIS, HR Analytics, and a helpdesk for HR system support. Governance activities documented in project notes show end to end project oversight from design through implementation, monitoring of project issues, scope changes and variances, prioritized elicitation of end user needs, and development of reporting capabilities to support HR stakeholders.
Integration and operational coverage emphasized interfacing benefits data with Payroll and the SAP HR interface layer, while Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service provided functional benefits enrollment and transactions for employees and people managers. Operational responsibility and ongoing administration were centered in the HR department in Indonesia, with HRIS supervisors and analytics staff maintaining system documentation, reporting, and operational support for Benefits Administration and adjacent HR functions.

In 2015, Indosat Ooredoo implemented NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement as part of an OSS/BSS initiative. The deployment was scoped as a large scale OSS transformation to enable development, provisioning and support of enterprise services for the operator.
NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement was delivered on the Netcracker Framework and included Netcracker products for Resource Inventory, Discovery & Reconciliation, Network Planning & Design, Service Order Management, Service Activation, Service Information Management, Service Inventory, Service Problem Management and Product Information Management. The implementation consolidated inventory, service information and product catalog capabilities, aligning order to activation and assurance workflows across those functional modules.
In collaboration with NEC Indonesia, Netcracker provisioned the platform to support Indosat Ooredoo operations across its mobile, fixed telephony and Internet and data service lines that serve millions of customers in Indonesia. The OSS/BSS scope focused on enabling enterprise service development and operational support, with the Netcracker modules providing the core service lifecycle and network resource management functionality.
Operational governance emphasized centralized service and product information management and automated reconciliation to support fulfillment and assurance processes. The architecture placed inventory and planning functions within the same Netcracker Framework to reduce manual handoffs and to standardize service order and activation flows across Indosat Ooredoo business functions.
