In 2023, Infocare Health implemented Rackspace AI Anywhere as part of a Rackspace Foundry for AI proof of concept deployed on AWS. The PoC integrated Amazon Q and Amazon QuickSight to deliver AI-powered analytics against Infocare Health’s clinical registry, which was built on AWS in August 2023, and targeted clinician users to accelerate access to insights and reduce reliance on manual SQL queries.
The PoC used Rackspace Foundry for AI FAIR on AWS to orchestrate data extraction from the registry, model inference via Amazon Q, and visualization through Amazon QuickSight, shifting analytics consumption toward AI-driven workflows. Rackspace AI Anywhere, described here as part of Rackspace’s AI infrastructure portfolio, was used in the PoC to enable model hosting and inference capabilities, with Rackspace Private Cloud AI identified as a potential extension for scaled or on-prem deployments.
Integrations focused on explicit ties between the AWS-hosted registry, Amazon Q for inference and natural language interactions, and QuickSight for BI visualization, while data pipelines and analytics orchestration remained on AWS. Governance and process changes emphasized replacing ad hoc SQL query workflows with governed AI-powered analytics feeds for clinical teams, with the engagement staged as a controlled proof of concept prior to broader operational rollout.
