Active Data Guard drives disaster recovery and replication across a high speed FastConnect link, and the rollout sequence moved from a joint proof to pilot into a controlled production expansion in OCI’s Ashburn region with operations support taken over by Integra and Data Intensity.
Documented outcomes from subsequent OCI adoption include marked performance improvements for financial and operational reporting, for example a daily sales invoice report reduced from one hour and forty five minutes to thirteen minutes representing an 87 percent improvement, and further gains to 91 percent with an in memory option. Nightly analytics processing windows shortened from 8.5 hours to about 3.5 hours, and the program expanded to deploy over 140 systems across development, quality assurance, production, disaster recovery, and special project environments on OCI. Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial remains the center of Integra LifeSciences back office, with OCI observability and Active Data Guard improving platform visibility and resiliency.
