In 2018 International Aerospace Manufacturing implemented Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 to support ERP Financial processes and to operationalize supply chain and discrete manufacturing business functions. The deployment focused on Oracle E-Business Suite as the core enterprise application, with a functional remit spanning order management, inventory control, procurement and discrete manufacturing planning.
The implementation included configuration and functional support for OM, INV, PO & Discrete Manufacturing modules. Scope of work covered bill of materials setup, work in process setup, routing definition, resource definition and outside processing setup, plus preparation of business cycle documentation and user-facing process guides to ensure consistent transactional flows across manufacturing and SCM workflows.
Operational architecture included maintaining cloned instances to reproduce client reported defects and an R12.1.3 environment for development and support activities. Functional teams analyzed backend tables to specify report requirements, coordinated report development with technical resources, and interacted with DBA personnel to resolve environment and performance issues while preserving transactional integrity in production like instances.
Governance and support processes centered on direct engagement with key users and end users to track and resolve issues, logging SRs with Oracle Support for critical defects and communicating until resolution. The project instituted issue tracking, weekly status meetings and run book style work arounds for operational incidents, with functional ownership for requirement clarification and handoff to technical teams for development and fixes.

In 2019 International Aerospace Manufacturing Pvt Ltd implemented GE CIMPLICITY HMI / SCADA as part of an Enterprise Asset Management deployment for its aerospace compressor parts operations. IAMPL is a 50/50 joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited producing more than 100 unique compressor parts, and the implementation was positioned to advance the MES journey and operational visibility across the shop floor.
The deployment combined Proficy Plant Applications, GE CIMPLICITY HMI / SCADA, Proficy Workflow, Proficy Historian, and Proficy Webspace to deliver production management, efficiency management and OEE, quality management, and reporting capabilities. Proficy Smart Factory MES solutions were used to orchestrate shop floor workflows, capture cycle time and process parameters, and provide operator HMIs and web dashboards. CIMPLICITY HMI / SCADA provided machine level visualization and supervisory control, while Proficy Historian retained time series data for OEE and quality analytics.
Integrations were implemented with ERP systems, machine controls, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, and DNC to enable part tracing, automated program delivery to CNC machines, and synchronized production planning. The architecture linked SCADA and MES layers to downstream enterprise systems to improve traceability and real time tracking of parts through production. Operational coverage focused on production, quality, and planning functions within the IAMPL manufacturing site.
Sarla Technologies served as the solution partner responsible for implementation, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and lifecycle support for the MES and SCADA stack. The project delivered outcomes cited by IAMPL including improved productivity, higher Right First Time, increased machine capacity utilization, reduced cycle time, fewer rejects, and improved parts tracking and visibility into operations.

In 2019, International Aerospace Manufacturing Pvt Ltd implemented GE Proficy Workflow. The GE Proficy Workflow deployment was delivered as part of a broader Proficy suite that included Proficy Plant Applications, CIMPLICITY HMI/SCADA, Proficy Historian and Proficy Webspace, with the implementation explicitly aligned to Collaboration workflows on the shop floor.
Implementation scope centralized production and quality orchestration, using GE Proficy Workflow to model approval routes, nonconformance handling and operator task sequencing. Functional modules and capabilities implemented included production management, efficiency management and OEE reporting, quality management workflows that supported Right First Time checks, and operational reporting integrated with the Proficy suite.
The solution integrated with IAMPL’s ERP, shop floor machines, Advanced Planning and Scheduling and DNC systems to enable traceability of individual compressor parts and machine capacity visibility. Operational coverage focused on manufacturing operations at IAMPL’s production site in India, supporting part tracking, shop floor execution and visibility into cycle times across cells producing unique compressor shrouds, cones and rings.
Sarla Technologies acted as the solution partner providing system architecture, implementation, lifecycle support, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades, and contributed domain expertise for MES and MOM processes. Governance changes included formalized workflow orchestration and standardized production and quality processes, improving traceability and operational handoffs across production and quality teams.
Outcomes explicitly reported from the implementation included improved productivity, higher Right First Time quality, greater machine capacity utilization, reduced cycle time and fewer rejects, alongside better tracking of parts and visibility into operations.
