SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off configurations included foundation objects such as Location, Location Group, Pay Component and Pay Component Group, and use of Import Foundation and MDF object imports for bulk data loads. Time off specific capabilities configured comprised time types, time account types, time profiles, work schedules, Holiday Calendars, time off rules and accrual rules, along with timesheet related configuration and accruals using standard functions. Event Reasons, Dynamic Roles in Manage Organization Pay and Job Structures, business rules configuration, position management and custom UI screens with assign to employee views were part of the implemented functional set.
The implementation validated data movement from SuccessFactors to SAP for employee master synchronization and provided employee related data feeds to Payroll for salary processing and Full and Final settlement workflows. Processes supported included confirmation, promotions, salary revisions, relieving, transfers, joinee and resignation handling, and maintenance of Performance Review Policy SOPs and the employee organogram, linking Absence and Leave Management into broader HR and payroll operations.
Governance and access control were enforced through Roles Based Permission configuration, group and role creation, and workflow orchestration to ensure timely completion of HR actions. Operational responsibilities included employee master data maintenance, recurring and non recurring pay component management, and handoff points for payroll and exit settlement, supported by staff trained in SuccessFactors Employee Central.
