QAD Legacy QAD Redzone Connected Workforce Workforce Management HCM n/a 2023 2023
In 2023, Jel Sert Company deployed QAD Redzone Connected Workforce alongside QAD ERP to empower frontline manufacturing teams and digitize production workflows across its U.S. facilities. The deployment framed QAD Redzone Connected Workforce as the central Workforce Management solution for shop floor orchestration, aligning operator activities with enterprise production planning and execution. The implementation focused on core Workforce Management capabilities, including digitized standard work and visual work instructions, shift logs and digital checklists, structured issue escalation and problem solving workflows, and OEE and performance dashboards. Integration work linked QAD Redzone Connected Workforce directly with QAD ERP to synchronize work orders, production status, and asset identifiers, enabling near real time OEE calculation and actionable alerts on the shop floor. The architecture connected multiple U.S. manufacturing sites under a centralized operational model, with mobile and tablet operator interfaces to accelerate incident capture and resolution. Operational governance introduced standardized frontline workflows and operator ownership of incident capture, while operations leadership gained centralized visibility to triage issues and drive continuous problem solving. The QAD case study reports a 9 point improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness within the first 90 days, along with faster problem resolution and higher frontline engagement following the rollout.
