Operational coverage integrated EAM usage with Finance, Indirect Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, warehouse partners and logistics providers, coordinating intercompany order spreadsheets, international transport planning and overdue shipment tracking. In 2014, Jsj Corporation implemented QAD Enterprise Asset Management, an Enterprise Asset Management application, to support maintenance and asset lifecycle management across its manufacturing operations. The implementation positioned QAD Enterprise Asset Management as the primary system for work order execution, preventive maintenance scheduling, and asset record management.
The deployment included administration of QAD versions eB2.1 and 2014 SE and an upgrade path to 2017 EE, with explicit work on data migration, report conversions, data validation, and system customization. Custom integrations and ongoing connectors to other business systems were created and maintained by the application engineering team, enabling asset data exchange with ERP and operational systems.
Governance and operational ownership rested with a Senior Application Engineer who led configuration, custom enhancements, upgrade execution and ongoing administration. The rollout focused on operationalizing core Enterprise Asset Management workflows for maintenance and operations teams, with governance activities including data validation, report conversion oversight and scheduled upgrade cycles.
