| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, Jungbunzlauer implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform. The migration targeted SAP ERP ECC 6.0, with the productive ERP landscape running at EHP7 on a SAP Sybase database and the conversion executed from an EHP8 source into S/4HANA 1605. Jungbunzlauer SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial was positioned to consolidate core finance and accounting functions across the enterprise.
SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner executed the project using a Bluefield approach, preparing an empty S/4HANA 1605 upgrade shell and performing a one step data conversion. The program used CrystalBridge, the Data Transformation Platform, to extract, transform and load master and transactional data into the prepared system and to convert records into the new S/4HANA table structures in a single migration pass. SAP S/4 HANA was configured to support standard ERP Financial workflows, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
The deployment architecture centered on the upgraded S/4HANA 1605 instance, with the CrystalBridge pipeline orchestrating data movement and conversion ahead of cutover. Integration work focused on the SAP database layer, the S/4HANA application stack and the migration platform, with SNP coordinating data mapping and technical conversion sequences. Operational coverage addressed central ERP transactional processing and finance process owners responsible for validation and reconciliation after conversion.
Governance followed Bluefield planning, requiring staged validation runs, data mapping governance and coordinated cutover controls to manage the one step migration into SAP S/4 HANA. SNP maintained migration orchestration and technical conversion governance, aligning change control with finance sign off and cutover procedures. The implementation narrative documents a scripted, platform driven migration into SAP S/4 HANA 1605 using CrystalBridge under SNP governance for Jungbunzlauer's ERP Financial transition.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BEx Analyzer | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Jungbunzlauer deployed SAP BEx Analyzer to centralize reporting and deliver Analytics and BI capabilities for sales and controlling workflows. The SAP BEx Analyzer implementation was positioned as the primary BW front end for roughly 100 end users in sales, sales controlling and product management, providing continuity with the familiar SAP Analysis for Office experience to accelerate adoption.
SAP BEx Analyzer was configured to support finely granular planned versus actual comparisons, reusing planned and actual figures that were consolidated in SAP Business Warehouse. The solution leveraged existing BEx query and workbook constructs to present sales planning data, supporting standard reporting functions consistent with an Analytics and BI deployment and enabling users to consume SAP IBP outputs via Excel-centric interfaces.
Architecturally, SAP BEx Analyzer consumed data that had been loaded into SAP BW from SAP Integrated Business Planning, the data transfer being explicitly linked via SAP Cloud Platform Data Services CPI-DS. The reporting layer sat alongside Jungbunzlauer’s SAP ERP footprint, creating an information flow where SAP IBP plan versions were staged into SAP BW and then reported through SAP BEx Analyzer for downstream analysis and review.
Governance and process changes were aligned to the planning freeze process established in IBP, with frozen plan versions copied into estimate versions and then surfaced by SAP BEx Analyzer for planned to actual reconciliation. End users retained Excel workflows through the familiar front end, which reduced training effort, eliminated the prior manual copy of planning data between SAP and spreadsheets, and supported uniform planning and reporting across locations with improved performance and lower infrastructure overhead as stated by the company.

In 2020 Jungbunzlauer implemented Cisco Webex Meetings as its Audio Video and Web Conferencing solution and placed Webex meeting entry and engagement components on the corporate website. The deployment supports both external access for customer and partner meetings and internal collaboration across corporate functions at the Switzerland based life sciences company. Cisco Webex Meetings is the application used to provide browser and client based video conferencing, screen sharing, participant management, and meeting recording capabilities.
Configuration work focused on embedding Webex meeting links and web access flows into the site and provisioning standard meeting controls and participant roles, aligning with typical Audio Video and Web Conferencing functional modules such as scheduling, real time video and audio, screen and file sharing, and session recording. The implementation reflects category aligned capabilities for synchronous collaboration and customer facing meeting orchestration using Cisco Webex Meetings.
Operational coverage is centered on corporate communications, sales engagement, and cross functional collaboration among research, quality, and administrative teams within Jungbunzlauer. Governance activities include consistent meeting policy application, user provisioning and role based meeting controls to manage external access and internal usage.
