INFORM ADD*ONE, an Advanced Planning and Scheduling application, was configured to manage spare parts inventory optimization and disposition logic and to generate automated order proposals. Configuration work emphasized service level parameters, replenishment rules, safety stock calculation, and disposition workflows to reduce manual planning effort and raise parts availability.
The implementation integrates INFORM ADD*ONE with Jungheinrich's ERP landscape as part of an S/4HANA migration to automate order proposals and streamline transactional handoffs. Integration scope covers inventory and order data flows between S/4HANA and INFORM ADD*ONE to support centralized planning and execution across the central Kaltenkirchen warehouse and the five regional warehouses.
The project began in February 2024 and was rolled into operational processes at the central site before extending to regional warehouses. Governance and process changes focused on central planning decisioning, automated order proposal approvals, and reduced manual intervention in disposition workflows to support service level focused planning across Jungheinrich's parts network.
