In 2016, K Line Singapore implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as the ERP Financial backbone feeding the KLAPIS Track APAC Parcel Information System, linking shipping ERP transactions into a consolidated reporting architecture. The implementation was centered on Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.0 as the source of transactional data for K Line Maritime APAC reporting and analytics.
The technical implementation delivered an OBIEE 11g based reporting layer, with OBIEE reports, RPD development, security configuration, usage tracking and scheduled report delivery. Informatica based ETL pipelines were developed for data extraction and transformation, supplemented by Oracle PL SQL procedures and utilities such as FastLoad, Tpump and SQL Loader to address varied feed and load requirements.
The target data architecture used a Teradata V2R12 datamart as the reporting store and an Oracle 11g staging database, with additional inputs from Microsoft SQL Server, orchestrated through Informatica mappings. Job scheduling and production orchestration were managed using Control M, and enterprise data modeling was executed with Erwin 7.3 to maintain consistent schema definitions and lineage.
Project governance and delivery were led by a Data Warehouse Development Lead and Architect who performed data warehouse analysis, estimation and impact analysis, owned development and testing, and guided Informatica ETL and OBIEE 11g reporting architecture. Responsibilities included designing and reviewing ETL and reporting standards, creating reusable ETL components, assigning and coordinating tasks with developers and client personnel, managing change requests, and monitoring deliverables for schedule and process adherence.
The implementation explicitly met stated performance requirements for the OBIEE and ETL solution, and the program emphasized quality deliverables and operational scheduling discipline to support K Line Maritime APAC reporting needs, aligning the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial data flows with the KLAPIS reporting ecosystem.

In 2010, K Line Singapore implemented CRiSTAL Solutions WMS. The deployment centralized Warehouse Management for a 22-person warehousing, logistics and project management team and supported the company’s domestic and regional logistics sales activities, including the setup of a warehouse in Thailand.
CRiSTAL Solutions WMS was implemented as the upgraded inventory system to provide core Warehouse Management capabilities, including inventory control, receiving, putaway, order picking, packing and shipping workflows, together with cycle counting and SKU lot control. The configuration leveraged category-aligned functionality such as barcode scanning and mobile terminal support to standardize transaction capture and inventory visibility across warehouse operations.
Operational coverage included warehousing, logistics and project management functions across Singapore and the Thailand site, and the WMS was positioned as the primary inventory engine underpinning the creation and development of supply chain solutions for clients. Governance incorporated role based access for warehouse staff, inventory custodians and sales operations, and workflows were instrumented to align order fulfillment and project logistics processes.
