In 2021, Kalitta Air implemented Swiss AS AMOS, deploying the Aviation MRO application across its global maintenance operations. The implementation went live on January 25th, 2021 using a big bang approach to activate capabilities simultaneously across multiple business units and divisions to ensure immediate operational alignment. The Swiss AS AMOS deployment encompassed core maintenance planning and control, work order management, shop floor execution, heavy maintenance scheduling, engine shop and component maintenance modules, and inventory and parts control. The rollout supported over 2,000 users across maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and operations, consolidating multi-site operational data into a single Aviation MRO platform. Governance for the project was executed by a dedicated Kalitta and Swiss AS project team that managed the cutover, user onboarding, and operational readiness activities.
