| Infor | Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) | Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise | Distribution ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 | In 2021, Kellogg Garden Products implemented Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise as its Distribution ERP, replacing Sage 500 ERP. The deployment used a cloud SaaS posture, centralizing core distribution transaction processing for a small national distributor focused on independent retail and home improvement channels. Configuration emphasized core distribution modules consistent with the Distribution ERP category, including sales order capture for independent-channel reps, inventory control and replenishment, purchasing and supplier receipt flows, and financial posting workflows. Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise was configured to accept mobile order entry from field teams, aligning order management with store visit execution and merchandising activities. The implementation was integrated with the Movista retail workforce platform to unify store execution data with ERP order workflows, Movista captured geo-location, time and mileage tracking, tasking, returns, and photo verification while enabling reps to place orders during store visits that flow into Infor CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise. The solution also integrated with ADP for timekeeping, reducing duplicate administrative tasks through a direct connection between workforce time capture and payroll systems. Operational scope covered merchandising operations, field, and sales teams nationwide, consolidating store execution, order capture, and back office distribution processes. Governance focused on linking mobile retail execution with ERP order and inventory controls, and the customer anticipated additional time savings through the ADP integration as part of the overall rollout. |
