Configuration work prioritized a harmonised chart of accounts, centralised finance master data, and streamlined month end and statutory close workflows to support pan European standardisation efforts. EY was engaged from May to September 2017 to develop and validate the Kuantum business case, producing a roadmap, sequencing options and a detailed assessment of systems landscape impact and costs and benefits. Operational scope targeted Kellogg Europe entities, aligning with prior efficiency and standardisation programmes following the Pringles acquisition and coordinating with Kellogg Global governance based in North America. Program governance established a steering cadence to sequence rollout waves, align stakeholder priorities and manage systems landscape complexity, with the explicit objective of enabling growth and agility in a challenging European market. The procurement of SAP S/4 HANA and the Kuantum planning artifacts reframed finance transformation as a business outcome, supported by a documented roadmap and business case prepared by EY.

The implementation included mapped floor plans for each office with reduced capacities to support social distancing, and capacity controls were tuned to reflect site specific arrangements. Site level configuration was a core architectural focus, enabling different office rules and booking responses to accommodate varying government regulations across countries. Condeco provided weekly implementation support to Kelloggs UK to maintain the accelerated schedule and to adjust configurations as regulations evolved. Governance and operational workflows were updated to manage desk booking orchestration and to meet a committed rapid ramp up timeframe of around four weeks. The pilot succeeded and the system was rolled out to all ten offices, establishing Eptura Condeco Booking as the Reservation and Booking Management platform for facilities and workforce scheduling functions at Kelloggs UK.

Operational scope included the Data Visualization and Data Engineering teams and insight consumers across Europe, with Product Owner governance, version control of workbooks, and a staged rollout of dashboards. The implementation emphasized sustainable data and insight solutions, with the Senior Manager Analytics accountable for ongoing ownership of the Tableau application and the platform supporting it.
