In 2017, Kimray implemented HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) as its Enterprise Asset Management platform. The HxGN EAM application was deployed in a self-hosted architecture to manage over 5,000 assets across 2,500 systems and positions, supporting more than 35,000 work orders per annum and increasing as the system continues to develop.
Configuration and functional modules implemented include the Cognos based advanced reporting module, Alert Management configuration, configurable UDF Screens for asset and work order data, and mobile platform settings for field operations. Administrative configuration work comprised writing flex SQL and EF statements to enable automation, developing and issuing user and user group permissions, building queries and reports, and managing install parameters and environment upgrades.
Documented integrations and operational touchpoints include Microsoft Project integration for scheduling and the Cognos advanced reporting module for analytics, alongside mobile platform integration for field data capture. The self-hosted deployment required ongoing environment administration and upgrade planning as part of the application lifecycle.
Governance and rollout focused on workflow and user enablement, with the EAM team developing workflow charts, training videos, and instructor led training classes for initial rollout and continuous support, and the application used by all team members across the organization.
