Operational coverage spanned the billing department, accounts payable, procurement and stores functions, reflecting a site level orchestration of finance and clinical billing data flows. Governance and process changes emphasized monthly and month end controls, including regular stock take procedures, structured creditor reconciliations, month end bank reconciliations, and formal liaison with internal and external auditors. Day to day controls were enforced through PO DO PV checking prior to payment and through routine reconciliations embedded in the Microsoft Dynamics AX driven close process.
