| ADP | Delphia Timestar (ex Insperity Timestar) | ADP Payroll | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, KNAPP implemented ADP Payroll to replace Delphia Timestar formerly known as Insperity Timestar as part of a transition off a PEO. The ADP Payroll deployment supported full cycle payroll processing, 401k administration, prevailing wage reporting, and time and attendance updates for KNAPP North America across multiple divisions and client contacts.
Implementation covered end to end payroll configuration and operational workflows, including processing multiple full cycle payrolls, running 401k deductions, and preparing prevailing wage reports. The deployment also encompassed HR adjacent capabilities used day to day by the HR team, such as creating offers, initiating background checks and drug tests, facilitating onboarding, maintaining electronic and paper employee files, and updating the organization chart.
Operational integration work included establishing and maintaining a vendor relationship that provided a bridge to ADP Payroll, and acting as the gatekeeper for time and attendance updates and for resolving payroll and benefit escalations. The program supported international employee management tasks, assisting Legal with the visa process, onboarding international transfers, shadow billing, and I-9 form processing, while maintaining Microsoft Identify Manager as part of identity related HR tooling.
Governance and process changes centralized payroll ownership within HR operations, with a single point of contact handling employee HR questions and vendor interactions, and supporting multiple divisions and client contacts. The HR team additionally documented and implemented payroll and human resource policies and promoted HR programs in partnership with management.
