In 2018, Knox City Counsel implemented IgniteTech Computron as its ERP Financial system. IgniteTech Computron serves as the council's core finance platform and in 2023 the deployment scope was extended to support modernized expense workflows and integrations with other operational systems.
Computron has been configured to manage core financial processes including general ledger posting, accounts payable workflows, and automated expense posting from an external expense management tool. The council replaced the vendor sunsetted Fraedom expense management system with ExpenseMe Pro, which went live at the end of Oct 23, and the integration from ExpenseMe Pro into IgniteTech Computron was scheduled to go live in Nov 23 to capture transaction and coding detail into the ERP Financial ledger.
The ExpenseMe Pro to Computron integration was developed on the council's strategic enterprise integration platform, providing an intermediary layer that explicitly reduces risk of failures and data security vulnerabilities, and is planned for production activation in Nov 23. Separately, Trapeze Pro went live in Oct 23 to support planning and building plan and drawing management processes used by planning and building functions, while the integration platform centralizes system-to-system data flows for finance and operational tooling.
Operational governance and rollout activities were coordinated alongside the Computron integrations, including onboarding first contractors to MFA enforced named user accounts, commencing records management compliance monitoring with expanded reporting on overdue KX activities, and completing the Intune Rollout Phase 2 pilot ahead of a full device rollout to all laptops and desktops. Infrastructure resilience work ran in parallel with a full disaster recovery test between Civic Centre and NextDC, including failover of 2x switches at both sites, and facility accessibility upgrades such as new function room video conferencing cameras and a hearing loop for the council chambers.

| PageUp | Legacy | PageUp ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Knox City Counsel deployed PageUp ATS as its Applicant Tracking System, using PageUp ATS to publish roles and collect applications directly through the council website. The implementation targeted municipal recruitment workflows for a mid sized government employer with approximately 943 employees, establishing the application intake channel on the public careers portal.
Configuration centered on career site integration, online application forms and structured candidate records within PageUp ATS, with standard applicant tracking capabilities such as job requisition management, candidate screening workflows, interview scheduling support and offer administration. The PageUp ATS deployment used configurable requisition and approval flows to align hiring managers and HR, and the system captured application data and status tracking for each vacancy.
Operational coverage included the council HR team and hiring managers across departments, with role based access controls and staged approval processes to enforce governance for public sector recruitment. The implementation emphasized career site published postings and application form orchestration on the Knox City Counsel website, keeping recruitment operations and applicant data centralized in the PageUp ATS Applicant Tracking System.

In 2021, Knox City Counsel deployed ReadSpeaker Text to Speech on its public website, implementing a Natural Language Processing capability for citizen facing content. The implementation centers on delivery of on page audio for web pages, documents, and news items to support accessibility and consumption of council information.
ReadSpeaker Text to Speech was embedded as a browser side reader widget that performs text to audio rendering, exposes playback controls, and allows selectable voice and language options across HTML content. Configuration focused on page level instrumentation and content chunking to ensure reliable narration of headings, paragraphs, lists, and document text.
The deployment integrates into the council website code base and content delivery pipeline, operating alongside the site content management workflows rather than as a back end enterprise service. Operational scope is public facing web services, with the digital services and communications teams positioned as primary owners for content enablement and runtime monitoring.
Governance and process changes aligned publishing practices with speech rendering requirements, introducing content tagging and semantic markup standards so ReadSpeaker Text to Speech can consistently identify readable text segments. Ongoing maintenance responsibilities were assigned to web operations and communications to manage voice configuration and accessibility compliance at the page level.
