Kofax ReadSoft Online was configured to operate the ReadSoft Invoices capture engine along with Work Cycle and PDAP workflow orchestration, providing OCR extraction, data validation, exception routing, and automated handoff into invoice processing queues. Configuration work focused on invoice matching alignment with existing CODA invoice matching and procurement processes, rule set tuning for touchless processing, and settings level maintenance for ongoing corrective and evolutionary changes.
The implementation integrated with the group finance stack including UNIT4 CODA v12 and v14, FISERV Accurate, Notilus, SAP FI MM CO financials, AXWAY SAI messaging, and backend databases Oracle and SQL Server. Interfaces used web services and file-based exchanges and leveraged existing ODI and Web Services SOAP frameworks to propagate invoice data into CODA, Accurate and downstream reporting and consolidation feeds.
Operational governance emphasized cross-functional committees and formal production start-up controls, including IT receipts, user acceptance testing assistance, post-start-up follow-up, and ongoing incident and KPI monitoring. Day to day ownership remained with the Accounting Tools division with responsibilities for production follow-up, user support, maintenance of interfaces and securing half-yearly and annual financial statement processes.
