Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP Financial ERP n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, Liberty Utilities implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX to consolidate core ERP and finance operations. The Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment served the company’s ERP Financial mandate and targeted central finance, accounting and back-office workflows within its Canadian operations. The implementation focused on configuring Microsoft Dynamics AX financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and procurement-related ledger workflows. Workstreams emphasized chart of accounts rationalization, period close automation and role-based security configuration consistent with ERP Financial requirements. Operational scope covered corporate finance, centralized accounting, treasury activities and procurement functions, aligning day-to-day transaction processing and financial reporting on a single ERP Financial platform. Several concurrent IT projects were coordinated alongside the ERP program to reduce contention for shared resources. Program governance combined staged rollout planning, business process standardization and formal change management to align finance teams and controllers with new system workflows. Training and cutover sequencing were organized to support a phased adoption of Microsoft Dynamics AX across affected finance functions.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing Candidate Relationship Management HCM n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Liberty Utilities implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing to establish a Candidate Relationship Management capability within its HR technology stack. The deployment targeted talent acquisition and candidate engagement workflows for Liberty Utilities Canada, aligning Recruiting Marketing with broader HRIS operations for an employer with approximately 1,500 employees. The implementation centered on SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing alongside integrated SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Recruiting Management, RMK, and Onboarding, with operational links to WorkForce Software. Configuration work focused on candidate pipelining, talent pool segmentation, campaign orchestration, and CRM-style nurture workflows, leveraging Recruiting Marketing as the front-end candidate engagement layer. Architecturally the solution is delivered as a cloud SaaS deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing, integrated with Employee Central for master HR data and with Recruiting Management and Onboarding for downstream candidate lifecycle handoffs. Integrations follow standard SuccessFactors integration patterns to synchronize candidate and worker records, and to feed onboarding and workforce scheduling processes in WorkForce Software. Governance and operational support are managed by the internal HRIS team, with HRIS Analyst II roles providing day-to-day administration and incident support from Oakville, Ontario in a hybrid work model. Operationalization emphasized centralized HRIS ownership of CRM configuration, controlled update processes, and ongoing support workflows for recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning systems.

Salesforce Legacy Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Liberty Utilities deployed Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to support Field Service Management across its construction and maintenance workflows. The rollout focused on field dispatch and work order orchestration for the C&M Department, with configuration to capture and manage leak events, create and clear maintenance plans, and manage plumber material work orders and Dig Safe tickets. Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) was configured to provide core Field Service Management capabilities including work order creation, automated dispatching and scheduling, leak tracking, maintenance plan lifecycle management, and material consumption recording. Operational workflows were structured so a Project Administrator monitors leaks, enters leak information, creates and clears maintenance plans, and triggers repair work orders for leak or corrosion events. The implementation included explicit system-level integration with SAP for order creation and material consumption, with orders for leak or corrosion repair keyed into SAP and consumed material recorded in SAP to close out C&M orders. Operational coverage included field crews and plumbers supporting the Fall River Massachusetts site, with governance centered on centralized order entry, dispatch oversight, and maintenance plan controls executed by the Project Administrator.
