| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021 Lids Sports Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform to centralize finance, merchandising, and retail commerce operations. The deployment was scoped to support corporate finance functions and global retail operations across more than 1,200 stores and international expansion efforts.
The implementation leveraged Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to configure finance and procurement workflows, inventory management, merchandise lifecycle processes, and retail commerce capabilities. Functional workstreams included buying and planning, product set up, purchasing and receipt processes, and ledger level financial controls consistent with ERP Financial application patterns.
Integrations were focused on electronic data interchange and retail point of sale infrastructure. The program implemented EDI functions for purchase orders, product catalog synchronization and advanced shipping notices, automating more than 2,000 purchase orders per week, and provisioned Commerce connectivity to handheld POS hardware deployed to roughly 1,000 stores totaling about 3,000 devices across the United States, Canada and England. A modernized store network strategy was executed in parallel to support device rollouts and international store openings exceeding 100 locations in five countries.
Operational governance centralized IT oversight for the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations rollout, with an IT organization governing application development, DevOps, network and security operations, telecom and business intelligence. The IT leadership established DevOps continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, cyber security policies and application portfolio roadmaps, and partnered with merchandising and finance to standardize end to end buying, planning and inventory management workflows from intent to buy through receipt.
Explicit outcomes reported during the program included automation of high volume EDI purchase order processing and support for accelerated retail expansion and annual top line sales growth exceeding 1.1 billion dollars. The rollout also navigated significant resource and supply chain obstacles while upgrading in-store POS infrastructure and store networking to operationalize the ERP Financial and Commerce solutions.

| SAP | UKG Pro HCM (ex UltiPro HCM) | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Lids Sports Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR solution. The deployment centralized core employee records and position structures for a retail organization of approximately 9,500 employees, and it replaced UKG Pro HCM ex UltiPro HCM as the system of record.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to support compensation structures, pay guideline administration, staffing models, and HR metrics reporting consistent with Core HR functionality. Configuration work focused on employee master data, compensation bands and salary grades, and role based data to support store level staffing and corporate salary administration.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical implementation, with an organized Compensation Committee led by HR and executive leadership to direct pay guideline reestablishment and wage strategy. The implementation narrative documents collaboration with business partners to establish corporate salary grades, redeploy staffing models to maximize store coverage, and stand up HR reporting to increase visibility into talent, retention, and organizational makeup. Program initiatives tied to these changes are reported to have produced an average 5% increase in store conversion and a 6% average increase in dollars per transaction in initial test markets, and a reported 35% increase in coverage effectiveness from the staffing model without additional wage spend.
Operational impact was concentrated on human resources, store operations, and compensation planning, with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central providing the central Core HR dataset to support ongoing workforce planning and governance. Reporting and metric instrumentation were emphasized to improve transparency into payroll budgeting, staffing effectiveness, and talent management workflows.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service | Point Of Sale | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 LIDS Sports Group implemented Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service to enable management of its Access Pass loyalty program directly at store checkout. The deployment extended the retailer's Point Of Sale application footprint to bring enrollment and membership lifecycle actions into the POS experience.
SkillNet designed custom modifications to Xstore that added enrollment capabilities for both free membership and purchase of the premium membership level at the POS terminal, membership upgrade workflows for existing customers, and an opt-in flow to allow customers to auto renew annual memberships. These capabilities were implemented as POS-side functional extensions to the Oracle MICROS Retail Xstore Point-of-Service application, embedding enrollment prompts and membership fields into the associate-operated checkout workflow.
Operational scope focused on in-store Xstore systems and store associates, enabling front-line sales teams to sign up new members, process premium purchases, and manage membership upgrades and renewals during transactions. The implementation impacted retail store operations and loyalty program management processes by aligning point of sale transaction flows with membership enrollment, upgrade, and consent capture.
Governance centered on configuring associate transaction workflows in Xstore to surface loyalty options and record opt-in consent, with SkillNet providing the loyalty solution design and Xstore modifications. LIDS stated that through the SkillNet-designed loyalty solution it improved its ability to manage and operate its loyalty program in stores, and Kevin Thompson, Senior Director, Applications Development, noted SkillNet's deep understanding of Xstore helped maximize the initial product investment and empowered associates to better serve and reward customers.
