In 2018, Linamar Production implemented IFS Cloud ERP in the ERP Financial category. Deployment evidence includes a Senior Database Administrator assignment from December 2018 to April 2019 in Ontario, Canada where the administrator managed the IFS ERP system and associated middleware.
The implementation architecture featured Oracle WebLogic server for application middleware, WLST Python scripting for orchestration and administrative automation, and load balancing to support availability. Database responsibilities included key architectural design, licensing and performance assessment, and a documented SQL Server upgrade pathway with review and design work for SQL 2012 to SQL 2017.
Operational integrations included support for business intelligence workflows, with the administrator assisting the BI team on PowerBI datasource configuration and performance reviews, indicating data extraction and reporting pipelines from IFS Cloud ERP into analytics. The deployment supported ERP Financial business functions, providing core financial management and accounting workflow consolidation alongside centralized transactional data for reporting.
Governance activities were focused on database architecture ownership, licensing oversight, performance tuning and scripted middleware management to enable operational stability and scalability. The implementation narrative centers on system administration and platform optimization tasks rather than quantified outcomes.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Linamar Production implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as Core HR to consolidate HR capability planning and global HR program governance across its manufacturing operations. The rollout encompassed HR, Finance, Quality and Operations processes with configuration and change activities executed across six global regions and 20 countries covering almost 100 locations.
Oracle Cloud HCM was deployed with a decentralized architecture for payroll and Time and Attendance systems, preserving local payroll and T and A feeds while centralizing Core HR data, position management and workforce records. The engagement included configuration of Oracle Cloud HCM modules aligned to Core HR functions and orchestration of sub projects for finance related controls and quality workflows.
Integrations were designed and implemented for workforce scheduling and time collection, including the selection and implementation of EmpCenter WFS by Workforce Software for approximately 10,000 federal and provincial employees in Canada, with HRIS to ADP interfaces engineered to achieve zero errors on first pay day. The program also included supply chain financing tooling, implementing PrimeRevenue reverse factoring on a $300 million exposure to increase liquidity and extend accounts payable terms.
Program governance was formalized through a centralized PMO model, standardizing PM and BA practices using PMI and BABOK frameworks supplemented with Six Sigma and change management toolkits, and providing coaching for PMs and BAs globally. The HR systems lead coordinated cross functional work across HR, IT, Finance and Payroll on systems integration, tiered support, enhancements, compliance and process re engineering, while implementation partners were managed to deliver the global Oracle Cloud HCM program.
Operational controls and process auditing complemented the technical work with development of Layered Process Audits CQI 8 across 20 locations, a structured quality control measure implemented alongside Oracle Cloud HCM and adjacent systems. Outcomes explicitly reported in the program included a successful multi region implementation, zero payroll errors for the EmpCenter WFS integration on first pay day, deployment of PrimeRevenue to increase cash flow on $300 million, and targeted cost of poor quality reductions through layered audits.

In 2020, Linamar Production implemented Plex ERP to manage core Manufacturing ERP functions across procurement, maintenance, inventory, and shop floor operations. The deployment focused on configuring transactional workflows in Plex ERP to support materials receiving, purchase order matching, tooling management, and maintenance storeroom control.
Plex ERP was configured for functional modules including procurement and purchasing, receiving and inspection, inventory management and cycle counting, maintenance repair and operations MRO, and basic shop floor reporting. The implementation emphasized purchase order to goods receipt matching, labeling and tracking of received parts, tooling inventory in a managed tool crib, and weekly tooling resharp and repair preparation workflows.
Operational coverage included Purchasing, Maintenance, Receiving, Accounts Payable collaboration, and production line support, with Plex ERP used to record discrepancies and communicate with suppliers or planning teams. The system supported transaction level activities such as unloading shipments, recording receipts, entering inventory transactions, preparing outbound shippers for repair, and managing daily cycle count activities for both tool crib and maintenance storeroom.
Governance and process changes centered on standardizing purchase requisition and ordering policies, establishing tooling and maintenance inventory control in Plex ERP, and integrating invoice reconciliation practices with Accounts Payable workflows. Reporting and operational control were implemented for monthly CPU reporting for production lines, tooling cost tracking, MRO spend and spot buys, and daily cycle count discipline to support inventory accuracy within the Manufacturing ERP environment.
