In 2015 Lincoln Tech implemented Starlims Abbott eScreen as its BackGround Screening application. The deployment was positioned to support HR and admissions related screening workflows across the Admissions Support Center and multiple campus locations, aligning screening activities with daily call center and national admissions operations.
Starlims Abbott eScreen was configured to manage pre employment drug screens, order and track background checks, capture candidate intake data, and produce screening result reporting consistent with BackGround Screening functional models. Operational users extended beyond HR to include New Student Coordinators who coordinated screening steps as part of remote enrollment processes and candidate onboarding.
Integration with ADP was implemented for background check ordering, with HR Coordinators initiating eScreen orders from within the ADP workflow. Operational coverage included coordination with the corporate office, managing employee file creation, and supporting on boarding of new employees while also enabling admissions staff to assist students with setup of remote testing linked to enrollment workflows.
Governance and process responsibilities were assigned to HR Coordinator and admissions support roles, who set up eScreen pre employment drug screens, maintained screening and employee records, and sustained routine reporting and tracking spreadsheets. The implementation positioned Starlims Abbott eScreen to serve as the BackGround Screening backbone for hiring and enrollment related screening activities within Lincoln Tech.
