In 2013, Linio México implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize core finance and accounting operations within the ERP Financial category. The deployment replaced Microsoft Dynamics SL and targeted consolidation of general ledger and financial reporting across the companys Mexico operations.
Configuration work emphasized ERP Financial modules such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and financial reporting, including chart of accounts rationalization and multi book alignment to corporate accounting policies. Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support transactional finance workflows and to serve as the single source of record for financial transactions. Automation of communications between the companys ecosystem and the ERP was a primary design objective.
The project developed real time communications through Web Services to Oracle NetSuite ERP, implementing bidirectional API integrations between the ERP and the broader application ecosystem. Those Web Services were implemented to synchronize invoicing, payment status and financial documents, and to support order to cash and procurement touchpoints with event driven updates. The integration architecture emphasized synchronous transactional consistency and centralized monitoring of API exchanges.
Operational coverage included finance, treasury, procurement and downstream accounting processes, with rollout governance focused on data reconciliation controls and transaction auditability. The cutover included migrating transactional history from Microsoft Dynamics SL and aligning master data to the new Oracle NetSuite ERP configurations. Governance and change management concentrated on standardizing finance workflows and establishing ongoing maintenance and monitoring for the Web Services integrations.
