In 2015, Lumi Capital Estonia implemented Erply Books as the integrated accounting backend for its property-management stack in the Baltics, establishing a centralized finance layer consistent with ERP Financial use cases. The engagement positioned Erply Books to serve as the system of record for lease accounting and utility cost posting across the companys property portfolios.
The Erply Books implementation incorporated core accounting capabilities expected in an ERP Financial solution, including general ledger posting, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and automated lease accounting entries. Configuration prioritized automation of lease and utility cost allocations so that recurring postings could be generated from property management events and schedules.
A Moderan integration was used to synchronize lease and utility calculations with Erply Books, the integration work beginning in 2015 and operating across the companys Baltic property-management stack. Operational coverage included finance and accounting functions supporting property management, with data flows from lease management and utility billing systems into Erply Books to produce accounting entries and reconciliations.
Governance emphasized centralized finance workflows, standardizing posting rules and reducing manual handoffs between property operations and accounting. The integration automated lease accounting and utility cost posting and delivered documented time savings, reducing related manual effort by roughly between 1 hour and 1 day per month per user on those processes.
