Configuration emphasized coordination tasks that mirrored recruiting operations, including scheduling phone screens and onsite interviews, sending calendar invites, and ensuring candidate comfort during onsite visits.
The implementation integrated with Success Factors to manage candidate data handoffs and with Accurate Background as part of the screening vendor chain, while also linking operationally to site clinic processes for pre-employment medical and drug screening. The solution was used to monitor the vending of new hires as they processed through Accurate Background, eScreen, and site clinic screenings, enabling recruiters to track screening progress alongside applicant records in Success Factors.
Governance and process changes aligned system controls with recruiting operations, assigning the recruiting team responsibility for candidate coordination, offer letter generation from approved templates, and first day I-9 completion for new hires. Operational procedures emphasized liaison activities between the applicant tracking data in Success Factors and in-person screening events, along with administrative support tasks to ensure interviews and onboarding steps executed on schedule.

The implementation was centered on supporting maintenance and reliability engineering functions for crude distillation, hydrodesulfurization, sulfur recovery, oil movements, docks, utilities, and firewater units, and it explicitly targeted machinery assets to enable condition-based maintenance workflows.
The Bently Nevada System 1 deployment implemented condition monitoring and vibration analysis workflows, oil analysis review, and field vibration data collection as core capabilities. Bently Nevada System 1 Evolution condition monitoring software was used to aggregate and analyze dynamic data from compressors, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, liquid ring compressors, non-synchronous and synchronous AC motors, steam turbines, gearboxes, blowers, fans, fin-fans, cooling tower fans, tank mixers, couplings, lubrication systems, cooling water systems, and mechanical seal systems.
Architecture and integrations included direct interfacing with the Bently Nevada Rack for continuous monitoring, use of Emerson CSI 2130 and 2140 Machine Health Analyzer Boxes for portable and shop-side data collection, and integration into AMS Machinery Health Manager software for machinery health records and broader asset health visibility. Field data collection rounds were part of the operational pattern, and the solution functioned as the central condition monitoring layer within the plant reliability ecosystem.
Governance and operationalization leveraged established engineering processes, including Root Cause Failure Analysis activities, Management of Changes submissions for equipment and process safety improvements, and collaborative Failure Modes and Effects Analysis on critical rotating equipment. The team developed an Equipment Maintenance Strategy and proceeded to implement action items from that EMS while providing operator training and mentoring to junior engineers, with the expressed objective to maximize asset availability and support major turnaround planning and execution.
