In 2021, Lyse implemented WorkForce Absence and Leave as the group level time and absence solution. The deployment was executed within the TRIO program that concurrently introduced Microsoft Dynamics 365 as the new ERP and SAP Concur for travel and expenses, with program activities spanning from November 2021 to January 2023 and change management led across the Lyse Group. WorkForce Absence and Leave was configured to support core absence and leave management workflows, including configurable leave types, entitlement and accrual rules, manager and employee self service request and approval flows, automated notifications, and policy enforcement logic. The implementation emphasized the WorkForce Absence and Leave application to centralize absence administration and standardize approval and reporting processes across business units. The solution was integrated into the TRIO application landscape with explicit links to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for employee master data alignment and to SAP Concur for travel and expense correlation, enabling consistent employee identity and absence context across HR and expense systems. Operational coverage targeted HR and line management across the Lyse Group, with rollout activities coordinated from Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway to the group companies. Governance and change activities were led by a dedicated Change Management Lead responsible for stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, ADKAR based change planning, visual communication and stakeholder engagement across companies. Implementation governance established program level stakeholder forums and change networks to support user adoption, communications and phased rollout of WorkForce Absence and Leave within Lyse, aligning Absence and Leave Management processes with the new ERP and travel expense systems.
