| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Main Line Health implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to support ERP Financial and HR business functions. The deployment centered on PeopleSoft HR and Financials applications running on PeopleTools, with PeopleSoft Update Manager driven maintenance cycles to manage versioning and stability.
The implementation covered core financial and supply chain capabilities within Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, configuration of payroll and benefits administration, and PeopleSoft HR Career components. Functional deliverables included an internal job posting and approval workflow built with AWE inside the HR Career application, and a redesigned benefit plan configuration with a new user experience for benefit elections.
Integrations and operational interfaces were a primary focus, including integrations between PeopleSoft HR and Oracle's Taleo, and between Taleo and OnBase implemented using Taleo's TCC Connect tool, alongside maintenance of SQR processes such as the Cobra Extract, Vanguard extract interface, and HR accrual employee feeds. Operational support extended to Kronos and OnBase, and day to day help desk resolution for Payroll, Benefits, and Employee Self Service, while a custom PeopleSoft module captured COVID 19 related employee incidents and generated dynamic emails for appropriate stakeholders, with captured data used by the occupational health team for analysis.
Governance and application management were conducted by internal application leadership that managed planning, design, PeopleTools and PUM upgrades for both HR and Financials, and implemented internal best practices for application design. Process re engineering efforts aligned with the implementation included streamlining the yearly merit compensation process and refining supply change management workflows within PeopleSoft Financials, coordinated through formal project and stakeholder review processes.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Main Line Health implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as its Core HR platform, establishing a centralized HR application footprint to support payroll, benefits, career management, and employee self service. The implementation targeted PeopleSoft HR capabilities alongside coordinated PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Change Management administration to align HR and finance processes under a common PeopleTools framework.
The project included PUM and PeopleTools upgrade activity for both HR and Financials, and configuration of functional modules such as the HR Career application with Approval Workflow Engine workflows, Benefits configuration and a redesigned benefits election user interface, payroll and ESS processes, and ongoing maintenance of SQR processes including Cobra Extract, Vanguard Extract interface feed, and HR Accrual Employee Process. Oracle PeopleSoft HCM was extended with a custom built module to capture employee incidents related to Covid-19, with dynamic notification emails generated based on captured data.
Integrations were implemented between PeopleSoft HR and Taleo, and between Taleo and OnBase using Taleo's TCC Connect tool, enabling an internal job posting and approval process that upon final approval automatically feeds to Oracle's Taleo application. Operational coverage included support and interfaces with Kronos and OnBase, and integration points focused on staffing, hiring workflows, benefits feeds, and extract/interface processes that supply downstream teams.
Governance and delivery practices were driven by a compact application leadership model that managed planning, design and implementation for multiple projects, provided technical application leadership for PeopleSoft HR and Financials, and established internal best practices for application design. The program included technical liaison and mentoring responsibilities, facilitation of technical discussions, and centralized management of upgrade and maintenance windows to coordinate HR and finance change control.
Data captured by the Covid-19 incident module is used by the occupational health team to conduct analysis, and the implementation produced streamlined merit compensation and financials change management processes through re-engineering and automation of existing workflows.
