In 2022 Makita Chile deployed Intiza Collections to automate customer communications and collections workflows, implementing an AR Automation capability to reduce manual effort in credit operations. The Chile implementation began in December 2022 with an initial focus on automating routine dunning communications and standardizing collections workqueues across the credit team.
The implementation configured Intiza Collections to drive automated customer messaging, rule based prioritization of delinquent accounts, scheduled reminders, and workflow orchestration for collector tasks and escalations. Reporting and case management features were instrumented to support day to day collections operations and to provide visibility into collector workloads and outstanding receivables.
Operational scope centered on the Makita Chile finance and credit teams, with deployment limited to the Chile legal entity while generating adoption interest from other regional Makita subsidiaries. The project specifically impacted accounts receivable and credit operations by centralizing collections activities and reducing manual outreach effort for the credit team.
Governance and rollout followed a targeted operational rollout that prioritized collections automation and process standardization, enabling the credit team to shift from manual outreach to managed workflows. Intiza Collections reduced delinquent debt by approximately 50 percent within three months and materially lowered manual workload for the credit team, outcomes that prompted regional subsidiaries to consider adopting the same AR Automation approach.
