UKG Workforce Central Timekeeper was used to define and operationalize pay rules, work rules, shift differentials, overtime and holiday rules, accrual calculations, scheduler logic, accrual rollover processing, and job transfer rates, with configuration and testing executed in QA prior to production. Integrations were implemented to transmit employee payroll and time data from MBTA servers into the Kronos environment, capturing Punches, Release time, Mark offs, Miscellaneous Payments such as Certificate, Safety and mileage, and claims information. The program supported inbound employee master feeds and outbound payroll hour and wage extracts via WIM interfaces, and included bespoke PL/SQL stored procedures and batch jobs to consolidate real time data from multiple sources into accrual loads. An import interface was developed to bring salaried employees into the system to enable accrual and entitlement tracking and to maintain an audit trail for billable staff. Program governance combined business analysis and iterative configuration cycles, with stakeholders engaged through requirement gathering, transformation of high level requirements into functional specifications, and user level concept definition under project manager direction. Ongoing activities included production support of interfaces, pay rules, scheduler and accruals, QA testing of configurations and integrations with business users, and recurring review meetings with the CIO and other business stakeholders.
