SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2016 2017
In 2016, Massimo Dutti Spain implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as an ERP Financial deployment to centralize and standardize finance and inventory-related processes. The program targeted the leases process, sales and bank reconciliation, and stock assessment processes while covering ERP implantation and functional systems support across multiple subsidiaries. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 rollout configured core financial accounting capabilities including accounts receivable and payable workflows, bank reconciliation automation, lease and fixed asset accounting, and inventory valuation routines supporting stock assessment. Functional systems support was formalized to manage configuration, master data stewardship, and period-end financial procedures. Operational scope extended to subsidiary-level implantations with integrations focused on feeding sales transaction data into reconciliation workflows and linking bank interfaces for automated reconciliation. The implementation positioned SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the primary ERP Financial system for consolidated financial operations and subsidiary reporting. Governance emphasized aligning local operational processes for leases, sales reconciliation, and stock assessment with centralized finance controls, and establishing structured functional support for ongoing maintenance and issue resolution. The deployment model balanced subsidiary adoption with centralized oversight to sustain SAP ERP ECC 6.0 operations and finance process consistency.

Meta4 Legacy Meta4 PeopleNet Core HR HCM n/a 2015 2015
Massimo Dutti Spain implemented Meta4 PeopleNet in 2015, deploying the Core HR application across subsidiaries and affiliated brands including Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho, Lefties, Zara Home and Uterqüe. The program was organized as country level projects under a centralized rollout structure managed by the HR department, with onsite implementations and local requirement gathering for each legal entity. Implementation centered on Core HR functional modules typical for enterprise human resources management, covering centralized employee master data, organizational management, hire to retire workflows, absence and time event capture, and configurable reporting and analytics templates. The department led design of a single global template for data structures and business rules, reviewed and validated functional documentation created by the IT organization, and executed solution testing against country specific requirements. The HR department acted as the business analyst between local business stakeholders in each country and the global IT department, gathering specific requirements, validating functional designs and overseeing onsite deployments. Projects included creation of ad hoc reports, data extraction and analysis capabilities to support local HR operations and compliance, and ongoing support for Human Resources stakeholders across brands and subsidiaries. Governance activities included template validation, formal sign off of functional documents and coordinated testing cycles, with the department retaining post go live support responsibilities across the Meta4 PeopleNet footprint. The role also encompassed planning, analysing and developing the human resources strategy, associated budget and projects to maintain and evolve the Core HR application framework.

HCL Technologies Legacy HCL Commerce (ex IBM Websphere Commerce) eCommerce eCommerce n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 Massimo Dutti Spain deployed HCL Commerce (ex IBM Websphere Commerce) as its eCommerce platform with vendor HCL Technologies, establishing a dedicated program to centralize online merchandising and storefront capabilities for the retailer. The implementation positioned HCL Commerce as the core commerce engine for catalog, pricing, promotions, and order handling across the digital storefront. The technical implementation combined HCL Commerce back-end capabilities with a front-end stack using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery to render responsive storefront experiences. The project team used IBM Websphere Commerce heritage in the application stack while applying standard eCommerce functional modules such as product catalog management, storefront rendering, checkout orchestration and promotion rules. Delivery and integration were structured around agile tooling and processes, with Jira and Confluence used for backlog and documentation management and Microsoft Project used for higher level planning. Scrum was the development methodology, and the product role ensured user stories were groomed, acceptance criteria defined, and business rules clarified for each Sprint, enabling continuous handoffs between business stakeholders and development teams. Governance centered on a product management remit that defined the product vision, assessed ROI and business planning, and managed budgets and resource procurement to meet defined results. The product role was consistently available to answer team inquiries, ensured sprint readiness of user stories, and maintained close alignment between merchandising, digital product teams and engineering during rollout.
