IBM Legacy IBM Process Mining Process Mining Analytics and BI n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Max Mara Fashion Group deployed IBM Process Mining to optimize Order to Cash and post sales service processes across its global retail and ecommerce operations. The Italy led initiative established a central Competence Center to govern the deployment and standardize process analysis, completing an eight month implementation phase with a global footprint of coverage. IBM Process Mining was configured to deliver core Process Mining capabilities, including process discovery, variant analysis, conformance checking, visual process flow mapping, and root cause investigation alongside role based dashboards and KPI instrumentation. The implementation focused on Order to Cash workflows and post sales service workflows, enabling analysts to surface bottlenecks, quantify rework and prioritize remediation points through repeatable process models and automated event log ingestion. Governance was centralized in the Competence Center which orchestrated model tuning, change control for process definitions, and rollout sequencing across retail and ecommerce business functions. The Competence Center drove operationalization of insights into service and operations teams, and Max Mara reported reductions in service resolution times by up to 90 percent and a reduction in average cost per resolution of about 46 percent following the eight month implementation.
