In 2020, McLeod Health implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as an ERP Financial initiative covering Oracle Cloud SCM, Financials and HCM. The deployment targeted enterprise finance, supply chain and human capital management functions across the health system.
The implementation configured Oracle Cloud SCM, Financials and HCM modules and incorporated business process redesign alongside the adoption of Oracle Cloud best practices. Workstreams included configuration of core financials, supply chain workflows, and HCM capabilities such as workforce management and payroll functions that support hospital finance and HR operations.
The program migrated transactional and master data from Infor Lawson into Oracle Cloud ERP, reflecting a cutover from the prior Infor Lawson system to Oracle Cloud. Data migration and reconciliation activities were principal integration signals during the move to cloud operations.
Project governance emphasized process redesign and aligning departmental process owners in finance, procurement and HR to cloud operational patterns. The deployment centered on standardizing financial and supply chain processes within Oracle Cloud ERP while embedding HCM workflows to support ongoing operational management.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, McLeod Health implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as a Core HR solution, part of a coordinated move to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, and HCM that followed a decision by system leadership after evaluating Workday. The initiative targeted consolidation of an aging Infor Lawson footprint and more than 30 disparate HR and administrative systems across McLeod Health, which operates 15 counties worth of hospitals and clinics and supports roughly 15,000 employees.
The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment focused on core HR modules and healthcare aligned workforce capabilities, including HR information management, payroll and benefits administration, talent management, workforce management, and HR analytics. Configuration emphasized centralized employee records and role based access controls to support credentialing and staffing workflows common to hospital operations, while preserving regulatory and compliance reporting functionality typical of Core HR implementations.
Architecturally the program was executed as a multi product Oracle Fusion Cloud stack, integrating Oracle Cloud HCM with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM to enable shared master data, unified financial and workforce planning inputs, and consolidated HR reporting. Data consolidation efforts ingested records from more than 30 source systems to establish a single HR data model, and integrations were scoped to support payroll feeds, benefits carriers, and financial reconciliation processes between HR and finance systems.
Governance was centralized under McLeod Health senior leadership to standardize HR processes, reduce system sprawl, and create a single source of truth for employee lifecycle management. The selection and rollout approach reflected phased adoption across clinical and corporate HR functions, with a focus on standardized workflows, centralized data governance, and alignment between Core HR operations and enterprise financial and planning functions.
