The implementation concentrated on Accounts Receivable and billing modules, including resident invoice generation, fees and subsidy calculations, adjustments, payment reconciliation from residents, families, Medicare and third parties, and debtor follow up. Operational coverage for Epicor ERP targeted MercyCare aged care services and Accounts Receivable operations, including support for staff based in Perth, Western Australia, reflecting the on-the-ground billing and reconciliation workflows. The deployment supported core finance functions such as invoicing, subsidy compliance processing, receipting, and accounts reconciliation, aligning technical configuration with aged care billing rules and audit requirements.

In 2020 MercyCare implemented AlayaCare Procura to centralize Home Care Management across its community and clinical service lines. The deployment of AlayaCare Procura in 2020 established a single application footprint for client records and care coordination while aligning operational workflows with MercyCare IT application support practices.
The implementation focused on core Home Care Management capabilities, including electronic care planning and clinical documentation, scheduling and rostering, mobile care worker access and timesheet capture, case management and client intake, and operational reporting for compliance. AlayaCare Procura was configured to support clinician-facing documentation and back office administrative workflows, with standard configuration and localized form templates to match MercyCare care protocols.
AlayaCare Procura was integrated into MercyCare’s application landscape and operates alongside Chris21, CAMMS Risk Incidents, Clinical Manager, Epicor, and Riteq. These integrations were used to synchronize HR and rostering data from Chris21 and Riteq, surface incident and risk records from CAMMS Risk Incidents, exchange clinical data with Clinical Manager, and transmit procurement and financial interfaces to Epicor, enabling end to end operational continuity between care delivery and support systems.
Governance for AlayaCare Procura has been managed through MercyCare’s IT Applications Support team, with responsibilities for administration, enhancements, user training, helpdesk ticketing and escalation, configuration management and system upgrades. Ongoing support processes emphasize application administration and incremental enhancements driven by clinical and operational feedback rather than one time change events.
