In 2019, Merivale implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial system. The deployment established a centralized financial ledger to support Merivale's hospitality operations in Australia, aligning corporate finance with site-level transaction flows across venues.
Infor SunSystems was configured to deliver core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, reflecting standard ERP Financial capabilities. Configuration work included chart of accounts design, period close orchestration, and payment processing workflows to ensure transactional integrity between finance and operational systems.
The implementation integrated Infor SunSystems with Basware for accounts payable automation, with point-of-sale software and hardware for transactional posting, with Tyro for EFTPOS merchant processing, and with CheckSCM for supply and inventory reconciliation. These integrations connected finance, procurement and POS operations, enabling end-to-end posting from venue transactions through to the corporate ledger.
Operational governance centered on in-house Level 3 support, led by Senior Applications Specialist resources who managed incidents, change requests, enhancements, documentation and staff training. The Senior Applications Specialist role also provided subject matter expertise for SunSystems, handled integration maintenance and supported the onboarding of additional sites, while communicating support expectations to business stakeholders.

The deployment was positioned within People Services and Talent Acquisition for the Australia based hospitality group, covering candidate engagement and attraction for a workforce of roughly 3,000 employees.
Configuration and ongoing management explicitly encompassed SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting Management and Recruiting Marketing, with workstreams aligned to candidate lifecycle orchestration, campaign driven talent pools and recruitment analytics. Operational integration was managed alongside UKG Dimensions and involved close collaboration with the Payroll team to implement legislative changes, identify efficiencies and resolve payroll adjacent issues, enabling coordination between HR, workforce management and payroll operations. The solution fed group wide reporting and labour insights used by HR, payroll and talent acquisition functions for operational decision making.
Governance centered on continual improvement, system administration and structured change control, with a dedicated People Systems function responsible for system development, troubleshooting, systems analysis and harmonizing reporting. In 2025, Merivale implemented NewBook on its website as the primary Real Estate Property Management application to support online bookings and property operations. Merivale uses NewBook as its Real Estate Property Management solution for reservations, inventory control, and guest-facing booking flows across its hospitality portfolio.
The NewBook deployment is a web-integrated configuration with the NewBook booking engine embedded into Merivale's public site, enabling direct reservation capture and centralized availability management. Configuration focuses on core Real Estate Property Management capabilities, including reservation management, rate and availability controls, guest profile management, and operational modules commonly used for housekeeping and front-of-house coordination.
Operational coverage for NewBook centers on reservations and property operations teams, with the application serving as the website booking interface and the source of truth for online inventory.
